Food Service Workers has got Best Chance in Canada Express Entry

Last year, Canada Express Entry has witnessed around 1,91,279 applications that were made, out of that around 31,000 were given Canadian PR. Around 16% of them were working in the cooking and food service industry.
Express Entry is the flagship selection system started under Canada economic immigration has processed many applications with the time frame set by the Canadian government of six months.
It was witnessed that around 80% of the cases were processed in six months of time, it was the target which was set out by the Canadian government starting from the date on which application received till the final decision made by the immigration department of Canada.
According to IRCC around 31,000 ITAs were granted to apply for Canadian PR to immigrants who posses high skills and around 10,000 people were already residing in Canada. it was also revealed that the professors were in the list of occupations and most of the foreign students also fared well in the Canada Express Entry.
Around 2356 candidates were given chance to migrate to Canada last year who were supervisors in food service industry and around 2295 individuals who got selected were cooks.  These two occupations comprises of 16% of the total who got status of Canada PR.
The other occupations for which the individuals were invited to apply for Canada PR were computer programmers, financial accountants and auditors, graphic designers, investment analysts, IT analysts, retail sales supervisors, software engineers, lecturers and professors, cooks and food service supervisors etc.
As per the information revealed by the IRCC, last year occupations like cooks and food service supervisors performed well as applicants under both the occupations had got around 16% ITAs to apply for Canadian permanent residency out of the entire 31,000 invitations sent under Express Entry.
