Australia Immigration to Invest $99.2 Million in Immigration

The Federal Australia has planned to invest $99.2 million in the immigration department to avoid the risk and make the system robust. The recent developments from the Federal budget announcement throw light on revamping the system of immigration.
The new immigration reforms include various changes to the skilled visas, student visas and the immigration premium services. More investment to make the system string and avoid any possible threat, that poses national security to the country.
The Immigration Minister Peter Dutton announced in a press conference in Canberra, a new technology would be adopted to detect the fraudulent practices. The possible risk from the unlawful migrants would be detected at the initial stage.
The Australia Government has planned to introduce major changes to student visa category, the eight visa categories will be converted to two categories. When it comes to skilled visas, the skilled occupation list of the Australia will be further expanded to allow more occupations and welcome different class of immigrants.
Australia Immigration has the point based system, the most stringent system to welcome the qualified professionals and students. The Federal Government is also planning for the investor’s visa that is likely to be announced in the month of November 2016.
Immigration services in Australia are managed by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP).
